AMMiC will be hosting two events in the month of September, a mini-conference from September 19-21, 2017 (Tuesday to Thursday) and the 7th Annual thanksgiving and fundraising dinner. Both events will be held at the Anglican Network Church of the Good Shepherd Vancouver. Click more for details.
The Mini-Conference is to train and to equip church planters and leaders of visible minority churches. Emphasis at this mini-conference will be on children ministry, bridging the first and second generation immigrants together in the church, and growth of church plants to the visible minority.
Our speakers include The Rev. Canon William Beasley from the Greenhouse Movement based in Chicago, The Rt. Rev. Stephen Leung and other AMMiC leaders. ANiC’s Diocesan Bishop, The Rt. Rev. Charlie Masters will also be in attendance and will be preaching at the Opening Holy Communion Service on Tuesday. Please see below for registration details.
During the evening of Wednesday September 20, AMMiC will also have our Annual Thanksgiving and Fundraising Dinner starting with a reception at 6 pm and dinner starting at 6:15 pm. The main foci of presentations will be a testimony from Rev. Robert and Linda Gomowad on their astounding journey of faith in ministry and a story of a young Anglican being called by the Lord for full time ministry. Your prayers and support are important as all AMMiC’s expenses including salaries rely on this annual fundraising event.
Conference Registration: Please e-mail to conference@ammic.ca with your name, home church and role at your church. Church Leaders from AMMiC Churches and Church Plants will have their fees waived.
