The past weekend, February 3-4, 2018, Bishop Stephen was in Calgary leading a talk series entitled “A Study of Holy Communion in the Bible and in the Anglican Reformation”. The talks were co-hosted by the Anglican Network Church of the Good Shepherd Calgary and the Canadian Chinese School of Theology at Ambrose Seminary (CCSTAS).
Topics included the historical development from Passover Meal to Last Supper, the Agape breaking of bread in the Apostolic Church, and exploration on the Anglican reformed faith from the Thirty-Nine Articles on the Eucharist, Ecclesiology, and Liturgy. The seminar was well attended by 24 students and alumni from CCSTAS and leaders from Good Shepherd Calgary.
