- Good Shepherd Vancouver: May 6 at the Taste of Life (ministry among grass root workers), a famous Chinese opera singer shared her story; May 7 at a women fellowship, Mrs Hui shared how she went through difficult life challenges with God’s grace.
Then on May 9 at TGIF monthly dinner outreach, Christine will share how she has been found by God. - Good Shepherd Calgary (Cantonese) on May 10, a potluck dinner where a couple will share their story plus Chinese music will be performed by a group from the Calgary Chinese music promotion society.

The Rev. Canon Terry Wong has been in full-time Christian work for more than 25 years and has pioneered various ministries and congregations. He is currently the Vicar of St James’ Church, a large, vibrant, and growing parish in the Diocese of Singapore. His parish is also involved in planting a new ministries in Bangkok, Thailand.
He will be sharing on the principles and practicalities of pastoring a parish and starting new ministries from his context. Canon Wong is currently on sabbatical leave, studying at Wycliffe College, Toronto.
The experience and Biblical priorities of Canon Wong will relate directly to the challenges that we all face in our churches, namely how to make effective contact with people who are outside the Christian community, and how to equip ourselves and others to communicate the gospel in a post-Christian and secular culture.
Priests, pastors, missionary, Christian ministry workers and those who are excited about mission are all welcome.
Admission is FREE and breakfast will be served at 9:00am.
Lunar New Year Celebration – Dumplings
Christ the Redeemer (Multicultural), Toronto, organized an outreach event to celebrate the Lunar New Year on February 2.

Christ the Redeemer, Toronto had their first baptismal service on June 30, 2013 since her first Eucharist service on February 10, 2013. Two adults were baptised. They were from Mainland China and from Taiwan who had been friends of A Quiet Place, an outreach centre setup in September 2012. Click here for more.
