Outreach Meetings this Week

This week, four outreach meetings were held or will be held:
  • Good Shepherd Vancouver: May 6 at the Taste of Life (ministry among grass root workers), a famous Chinese opera singer shared her story; May 7 at a women fellowship, Mrs Hui shared how she went through difficult life challenges with God’s grace.
Then on May 9 at TGIF monthly dinner outreach, Christine will share how she has been found by God.
  • Good Shepherd Calgary (Cantonese) on May 10, a potluck dinner where a couple will share their story plus Chinese music will be performed by a group from the Calgary Chinese music promotion society.
Pray for those who attended and will attend the services that their ears will be opened to hear the mighty work of our Lord in real lives and their hearts will be opened to our God that their lives may be touched.
Please also remember the ongoing outreach ministries (ESL class, ESL Bible studies, social gatherings) that the Christ the Redeemer, Toronto has been doing.

2 Baptisms at All Nations on Easter Sunday

We are glad to see that two young girls at All Nations (Japanese) received baptism on Easter Day – Sophia and Haruna.  Sophia gave her own testimony of how the love of God has touched her life and how the Christian witnesses of her maternal grandparents and parents has impacted her walk with Jesus.

Haruna’s parents shared how they see Haruna as a true gift of God to their family.  During their long wait for the child, their faith was tested but at the same time, their knowledge of God had been enriched and their experience of His faithfulness deepened.

Pray for their spiritual growth and that they would always experience the Lord’s love and grace.

Here are some photos of the service.
